St Charbel Makhlouf was a monk of the Lebanese Maronite Order in the Maronite Church. He was born on 8 May 1828 and passed away on December 24th 1898. Through his intercession, miracles have been performed. The most famous one is that of Nohad El Shami which happened on January 22nd 1993 and is commemorated on the 22nd day of every month
